Making health information and community resources easier to find and use.
Pearl Health Foundation is developing a digital initiative designed to help individuals, families, and caregivers navigate healthcare and connect with relevant support.
Our proposed approach includes a mobile-friendly resource guide, QR-code access, and plain-language educational materials. The goal is to make it easier to find services, understand next steps, and connect underserved communities with practical, reliable information.
Initial priorities include autism resources, caregiver mental health, care navigation, and support for veterans and military-connected families in California and Michigan.
Through funding and community partnerships, we aim to reduce information barriers and empower families to make informed care decisions.
This initiative is currently in the planning stage. Funding will support development, community input, accessibility, and testing.

Watch. Scan. Connect: Autism Resources and Caregiver Support
Pearl Health Foundation proposes embedding QR codes into Unseen Spectrum: Global Stories of Autism in Color to make health information and community resources easier to access.
Viewers watching on a computer, tablet, or television would scan an on-screen QR code with their smartphone to open a mobile-friendly resource guide. A companion link would provide access for viewers watching on their phones.
The proposed guide would offer autism resources, caregiver mental health information, healthcare navigation guidance, and support for veterans and military families. Initial outreach would focus on Riverside County, California, and Detroit, Michigan.
By tracking QR-code scans and resource visits, we aim to improve outreach and advance health equity by helping underserved families find information and support.
